Best Hotel Bathrooms For Your Stay-Cation

With the stay-cation in full support we check into the comfort, style and design of some of our favourite hotel bathrooms around the country.

    City-Style

Consider holidaying in your own city or visiting a new one.

With city centres notably quieter, take a stroll through tourist free streets.  Combine your stay with a culinary or pampering escapade as spa’s and restaurant’s welcome visitors back.

Tree House Hotel – Marylebone, London

Billed as a “home away from home” the Tree House Hotel provides a city escape that is stylish & comforting.

The rooms are cozy, welcoming and colorful and the room to book is definitely the Clubhouse Suite.  With its copper roll top bath positioned in front of vast bay windows with sweeping views of some of London’s iconic buildings.  Take time to slow down and do nothing more demanding than watch the city lights or an early morning sunrise from the warmth of a hot bath.

A petite luxury hotel inspired by Covent Gardens history and with a nod to Italian Design. A unique, trendy hide away in the heart of London with gorgeously styled bedrooms.

We recommend the Henrietta Grand Room with views stretching across the city rooftops all the way to the top of the London Eye.

The en-suite bathroom is a super cool affair with a claw foot bath on a black & white floor surrounded by white tile and pink paint accents.  Pose to your instagrams content.

For a true outdoors experience, head down to the river to discover a bath tub nestled into the rocks. Top it up with hot & cold running spring tap water, lie back and listen to the peaceful sounds of nature.

Venture even further down the gorge and discover a hidden bath tub tucked away next to the river and deep enough for two.  It is perfectly placed on a little wooden platform, overlooking your own lovely private waterfall.  Alternate between bracing river swims & warming up with long, deep hot soaks.  Close your eyes, perfect your savasana pose and just breathe.

With bathrooms galore on offer, it is however the simple yet sophisticated Lake Cabin which is where we found our favourite bathroom.  With stripped back walls and large aspect windows overlooking its own little lakeThe Lake Cabin has a large free standing indoor tub.  However it is the outdoor copper bath tub that grabs our attention.  Positioned on a full-length balcony overlooking the water from which to enjoy the fresh forest air.  Romantic & secluded, the perfect retreat.

    Country Living

    Babington House – Somerset

Elegant, discreet and the perfect country retreat plus absolute bathroom bliss.
